![]() ![]() Also big missions would likely be out of the question since who can babysit dozens of troops and tanks while also carrying invidual people around while resupplying tanks and other things with more ammo. The fact that if your squad of 8 goes down and you have to invidually select 8 people to carry those people around is just too much micro, especially if we playing on heroic where infantry mans life is lot shorter cause of the lot lower health. I never buy medics if they are invidual buys, but I will use them if they happen to be the current unit im controlling and theres somebody down close by. I kinda see people only using medics if they have access to them and they dont have anything more important to do, and this is quite rare. Infantry is totaly overpowered especially with the current immediately revive-and-back-to-duty-system. ![]() Most people don't even order a medic because it is easier to just call in another squad and let your wounded infantry bleed to death. I don't like how unimportant it is to revive your infantry. If we want realism the soldiers should go down permanently, but then MP wont be that much fun for people who lose men and have to wait for them or not play the game at all if they doing the squad-based missions.įor me it's the other way around. ![]() I prefer it to be as simple as possible like we currently have it. Publicado originalmente por Vashyo:This would eliminate healing of soldiers completely for me, just too much micro for something that will likely go down again within the next minute. Also I think this could bring a great atmosphere to the battlefield when constantly wounded soldiers get carried back from the frontline. And I know that the animation of carrying another soldier is already in the game. ![]() I think such a system could be implemented particularly in SP but would also be possible in MP. You can't just hold back one medic and revive a whole squad after an infantry "Kamikaze -attack" because one medic can't carry all the wounded back to the flag-/healpoint before they die. Recapturing such a point where many wounded are waiting to get back would mean a big advantage.Ĥ. Flagpoints / Healpoints would get a greater tactical importance. Its more realistic to have a certain amount of time to "heal" a wounded soldier.ģ. You need to risk another soldier to rescue the wounded and "lose" him while he carries the wounded back to the flag-/ healpoint.Ģ. I would prefer a system where the wounded soldier needs to be carried to a certain position (maybe a flagpoint / healpoint) and gets revived there after a certain time.ġ. So if a soldier gets wounded the current system of an immediate "back to duty" is kind of overpowered and unrealistic. Just a little idea how the reviving system could be improved: ![]()
